申诉常见情况：
- 因非主观原因受到学术处分的学生；
- 对被处罚感觉过重，希望减轻处分的学生；
- 希望消除不良记录，顺利拿到毕业证书的学生；
- 学校任课老师教学指导不足，影响学生最终考核结果的情况。
申诉可不是一时冲动的事情，特别是挂科申诉。要知道，申诉后的成绩可能不如原来的高，而且无论结果如何，都会覆盖原来的分数。所以，如果没有足够的把握和证据，申诉可能会导致原来的60分变成56分，得不偿失。
那么，如何申诉呢？先来看看申诉的类型和流程吧！
Review阶段
在Review阶段，拿到成绩后，别只是唉声叹气，而是应该立即自查与反省。找出导致挂科或分数太低的原因：是assignment没写好？final没考好？还是平时出勤不够？
确保心里有数后，在学校规定的review日期内，携带学生卡去查阅试卷。
Tips：
由于目前大多数考试都是线上进行，因此对于不满意成绩的同学，需要向自己的unit coordinator申请review。不同学院也会安排统一的时间供大家查看试卷，一定不要错过这个时机！
想方设法记录下标准答案和自己的答案，这对之后写appeal letter特别有用！相当于手握关键证据，让你在申诉时更有底气。
非正式申诉
非正式申诉是指与原始批卷人或课程负责人进行的非正式沟通。
每个学院和学校的要求不同，一般来说，申诉有效期限为出成绩后的15天至20天内，所以务必在有效期内提交申请表，发给相关部门。
在对比答案后，在review的过程中找到可以提分的点，申诉重新打分（Appeals against marks or grades）。
在申诉表中列举你认为可以成功申诉的原因和证据，然后发送邮件给负责的部门。记住，一定要时刻追踪你的申诉进度！
Tips：
- 申诉信要注意语言的正式化，条理清晰，逻辑性强，牢记这是一项严肃的事情。

正式院级申诉

- 一封解释整个申诉过程和原始成绩的信；
- 非正式申诉阶段的判决结果；
- 与这门学科相关的作业、试卷以及任何可以帮助你提分的材料，越全越好！
- 其他任何相关信息，包括成绩单、医疗证明、家人的证明信、与相关人员往来的信件等等。

校级申诉
如果不幸，前面的申诉过程都没有成功，而且得到的结果也非常不理想，那么你还有最后一次向学校申诉的机会。虽然很少有人会走到这一步，但真到了这里，也无需害怕！
需要知道的是，这是最后一次申诉的机会了。要总结前面申诉失败的原因，准备迎接最后的一搏！
Appeal Letter怎么写？
申诉信的内容至关重要，务必慎重书写。一封正式的申诉信通常需要包含以下几个要点：
- 自我介绍：简要介绍自己的身份和背景；
- 阐明写信目的：清晰说明你写信的目的，即申诉的原因；
- 说明违规行为/挂科/分数低等的原因：诚实地说明导致问题发生的原因；
- 阐述出现问题背后的主要原因并提出未来规划：深入分析问题背后的根本原因，并提出解决问题的具体规划和措施；
